Originally from New Jersey, Melanie relocated to Richmond in 2018 and has been a part of the 1213 Hair Studio team ever since. She received her cosmetology license after training at an Aveda Institute in Philadelphia in 2012. Her passion for hair has grown over the years due to her additional training with Bumble and Bumble, J0hn Reyman, Redken and Wella. While Melanie is proficient in all aspects of hair, she has found her niche within blonding, Brazilian Blowouts and formal event styling. Her attention to detail and passion combined always makes her excited to meet with her clients and help them achieve their hair goals.
